Stephanie and her top notch team, Marion Horwitz, Administrative Assistant and Escrow coordinator is considered by Stephanie to be her “traffic controller”. “Without Marion, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do best- be one on one with my clients and give them the “5 star service” they deserve.
After a long and deliberate search, Stephanie added Gail Johnston, a past client, friend and now colleague to her core business group. Gail joined Pacific Union along with Stephanie in 2005 and will act as a pivotal part of the team- buyer’s specialist, and marketing/listing coordinator. Gail worked with Stephanie for 8 months prior to receiving her license and now will compliment Stephanie’s” 5 star service”. Gail came with top credentials after 30 years of sales and management experience with IBM.
She does not use the term, “5-star service”, loosely. Her goal has always been to provide the highest level of support, and personal attention to every detail for her clients. Once you work with Stephanie and her “team” you will understand why her past clients, the most important part of her business, have and still do turn to her as a trusted advisor, a skilled negotiator and a real estate resource.
Stephanie believes in giving back to the Community. She has been an active board member of the Chamber of Commerce for over 8 years and immediate past President. Embracing her love of history, she served as a board member of the Mill Valley Historical Society Board for approximately 7 years and also as a past President.
Stephanie attended ParkSchool, Edna Maguire and Tamalpais High. She studied at San JoseState until she was offered a full time management job in the retail industry. She flourished in that business, eventually owning and operating 5 tennis shops in Hawaii where she lived for approximately 14 years. She and her then tennis Pro husband teamed up with Wimbledon Champion, John Newcombe to form “Newk’s Hawaii” – a full service tennis resort management and tennis shop company.
After retail came 6 years in the television and entertainment industry. Stephanie began as a location scout in Hawaii and worked her way up to Producer of several live TV shows with the CBS and NBC affiliates in Honolulu. She later moved back from Hawaii to work as an Associate Producer on the local TV series, Evening Magazine.
After Evening Magazine she initiated and participated in the development of a concept for a real estate magazine TV show. During this process she obtained her real estate license. Her real estate research and development interests led her to the decision to change careers.
She made the transition and has become on of the most successful real estate agents in MarinCounty. Stephanie specializes in her hometown of MillValley, but has sold homes all over the County, most notably in Southern Marin.
