Mill Valley
TENNESSEE VALLEY
Tennessee Valley is a quiet neighborhood located in a beautiful slender valley that runs from Richardson Bay to the Pacific. It is located in the southernmost area of Mill Valley. Located along Tennessee Valley Road, this communityhas a great rural character and easy access to some of Marin's most spectacular open spaces. It has some of the best hiking and biking trails in the county literally in the back yard, including the Tennessee Valley Trail that leads directly to the ocean. You can walk out to the beach or up on a ridge and enjoy an ocean view. Many of the homes have great ridgeline views. Tennessee Valley is close to the city but you wouldn't know it by looking outside. Just a few minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge makes for one of the best commutes in Marin.
Tennessee Valley kids join children from Tam Valley at the highly regarded Tam Valley School, while junior high students attend Mill Valley Middle School. Both schools are in the Mill Valley School District. High schoolers join other teens from the area at Tamalpais High School.
